Lately it seems I've been posting a bit more about history and I thought I'd give a shout-out to Abort Retry Fail.
Beyond the cool top-level domain name, the website has multiple posts on the history of various products and software projects.
I always find these interesting - beyond any I might have been involed with either as a developer or as a user - because there are often lessons to be drawn from them. Sometimes things have moved on and they are purely entertainment (and sometimes it feels like gossiping), but frequently the kinds of dynamics with competition, internal talent, or the focus provided on challenges and opportunities can speak to us today.
In any case, if you have some time, I think it will be well worth it to check out what's in store.
