This page has a few of picture from our first day of ski for the 2003-2004 season. We got season passes for lifts and rentals at Snoqualmie Pass.

This is me, on the first day, before leaving. It was raining, we froze, and were generally miserable on the lift chairs, although of course it was great fun. When leaving, my car got stuck in the ice with the wheels spinning and not getting any traction. After about twenty minutes of pushing the car in the freezing rain, going back and forth, rearranging stuff to shift the weight, and a lot of general cursing, we were able to get out of the parking lot and got to the highway. And we even made it back alive.

This is one of the gorgeous views you get on a clear day from the top of one of the runs. Lazy guys that we are, we didn't get there until well after noon, and the sun was already setting, but you can imagine how beatiful this is.
